Guy Junior Miller

Guy Junior Miller, 80, of New Windsor, passed away Friday, April 02, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born July 31, 1940, he was the son of the late Guy Irvin and Martha Barber Miller. He was the loving husband of Shirley Taylor Miller. They would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on June 12th of this year. Guy worked as a Line Foreman for Telemechanique from 1975-1993 and then as a Custodian at South Carroll High School for ten years. He enjoyed attending Nascar races and liked Go Karts. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Guy Alan (Wanda) Miller of Taneytown, and Rachel E. (Nelson, Jr.) Sims of New Windsor; grandchildren Alan Miller,Jr., Amanda Nusbaum, Tara (Dominico) Nool, and Brianne Sims; and great grandchildren Julian, Jaiven, Alyanna and Dalhia; and sisters Shirley Bell Rice of Monrovia and Bertha Saylor of Westminster. Guy was predeceased by grandson Nelson Sims, III. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, Md. 21157. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11 am at Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren, 818 Old Taneytown Road, Westminster, Md. 21157, with Rev. Amy Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg. Memorial donations in Guys memory may be made to Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren, 818 Old Taneytown Road, Westminster, Md. 21158.
