Berkley Dow Alexander, 84, of Bourbon, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at Missouri Baptist Hospital – Sullivan. Berkley Dow Alexander was born in Bourbon, MO, June 29, 1936, to Roy Erastus and Rose Lucille (Miller) Alexander. He grew up and attended and graduated from Bourbon High School. In 1954, Berkley entered into the United State Navy, where he spent the next twenty years of his life in service to our Country. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1974 and then he returned to Bourbon. Berkley married Toshika Yokoishi on June 27, 1958, in Tokyo, Japan. To this union three boys were born: Clyde, Jim and Eddie. Berkley was employed for many years by Community Auto in Sullivan. He loved being home, cutting wood and hunting. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and friends. Berkley is survived by his wife, Toshiko, of Bourbon, MO; two sons: Jim Alexander and wife, Susan, of Atoka, TN, and Eddie Alexander and wife, Anna, of Mountain Home, AR; six grandchildren: Brandon Alexander, Jessica Gray, Brianna Alexander, Kyle Alexander, Josh Alexander, Karrisa Alexander and Robby Alexander; three great-grandchildren: Xander, Kassidy and Maelynn; a sister, Amie Brewington, of Bourbon, MO; and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Clyde Alexander; one grandson, Cody Alexander; and his parents, Roy and Rose Alexander. Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. Graveside services will be 11:30 AM, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Crossroads Cemetery in Leasburg, MO, with Pastor Dan Morrison officiating.
