Helen Louise Blotzer passed away on March 27, 2021. Born on March 9, 1924, in Pittsburgh, to the late John and late Helen Stapola, Helen was the second of three children. She Spent her childhood, young adult life and met her late husband, William Blotzer, in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, where they had two daughters, Lynda and Janis. Relocating to Baltimore after WWII, Helen and Bill added daughter, Marcia, and son, William, to their family. They lived on Mansion Road in Linthicum until Bill’s death in 2000. Helen Moved to Charlestown in 2001 and lived there until her recent death. She leaves behind her loving children, Lynda Sloper and husband David, Janis Badder and husband Elliott, Marcia Blotzer and partner MaryBeth, and William Blotzer and wife Patricia; seven grandchildren, Michelle Jakab and husband Michael, David Sloper and wife Tammie, Todd Sloper and wife Wendy, Brant Louck and wife Charlene, Megan Long and husband Eric, Kimberly Drab and husband David, and Jason Blotzer and wife Megan; sixteen great-grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha, Tiger, Kara, Katie, Kendall, Jack, Zoie, Briel, Scarlet, Sully, Easton, Sylvia, Rosalyn, Delaney, and Brady; and dear sister of Delores Kascak. Helen was preceded in death by her brother Edward Stapola and grandson Benjiman Louck

   A Visitation for Helen will take place at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel in Charlestown on Friday, April 9 from 10 AM to 10:30 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately begin at 10:30 AM. Interment to privately take place afterwards.
