Robert J. Edgar, Jr. (91) of Reisterstown, passed away on March 26, 2021 at FutureCare Cherrywood, husband of the late Janet Elizabeth (Thomas) Edgar. They were married for 70 years. Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Robert J. Edgar, Sr. and Mary (Stanley) Edgar. Father of Catherine E. Dwyer and husband Jim of Hampstead, Janet E. Springer and husband Jim of Hampstead, Joan Marie Scheide and husband Tom of Bel Air, Robert J. Edgar III and wife Lisa of Bel Air, and Thomas L. Edgar of Edgemere; grandfather of John, Rebecca, Anne, Mary Caitlin, Paul, Evan, Jenny, T.J., Lynn, Bobby & Chris. Also survived by 18 great grandchildren. Brother of Edward Edgar of Houston, TX. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was a wonderful son, husband, and father. His family was everything to him, and he spent life caring for them. He had a soft spot in his heart for babies and dogs, and they responded in kind. He was deeply loved by his family. His memory will be cherished by all those who loved him. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Charlotte Galgon and Catherine Edgar, SHCJ. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. PLEASE NOTE: Masks and social distancing are still required. The total of 40 people are allowed in the funeral home.
