Gary A. Faucher Obituary

Gary A. Faucher, 69, of Norwalk, died suddenly on March 24, 2021 in Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, the son of the late Jules and Muriel (Gagnon) Faucher, he leaves behind his wife of 45 years Laurie (Swan) Faucher. He worked for REO  Appliance for many years, as an installer and technician, before retiring in 2018 . Gary took great pride in his home and was meticulous with its landscaping. He enjoyed gardening, especially herbs and tomatoes, and was an excellent chef and baker. A true Jack-of-all-trades, he enjoyed woodworking and could fix just about anything.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his deceased brother’s children Arlene Cyr and Kevin and Wayne Faucher, brother and sister-in-law David and Catherine Swan and their families.  

Friends may call at Magner Funeral Home from 1-3 pm on Sunday March 28th   A private burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk on Monday

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PAWS, (Pet Animal Welfare Society) 504 Main Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851 (Pawsct.org)
