<p>Karen Sue Riggs, 67, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on March 23, 2021. She was born on June 21, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas to Van E. Riggs and Mary Jo (Watson) Riggs.</p> <p>Karen graduated from Tascosa High school in 1971. She then spent about a year working for Western National Bank before working for Amarillo National Bank for 2 years. She was also a very faithful member of Kingswood United Methodist Church.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her father, Van E. Riggs; her grandmother, Modelle Hobbs; her brother-in-law, Lee Wallace; and numerous aunts and uncles.</p> <p>She is survived by her mother, Mary Jo Riggs; her sister, Vana Riggs Sheffield, her brother, David Brian Riggs and his wife Lorna; her nephews, Tyson Sheffield and Beau Riggs and his wife Amber; her nieces Traci Williams and her husband Mike and Ryan Riggs; her 4 great nieces; her 4 great nephews and numerous cousins.</p> <p>Special thanks to Jan Warner for their care of Karen for over 30 years. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.</p>

Karen Sue Riggs, 67, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on March 23, 2021. She was born on June 21, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas to Van E. Riggs and Mary Jo (Watson) Riggs.
