Four Oaks, NC:  Mrs. Valarie Mills Tompkins, age 61, of Strickland’s Crossroads Road died Monday, March 22, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Mass will be 11:00AM Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove.  Officiating will be Father Mark Wise.
     Mrs. Tompkins was born December 31, 1959 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late Robert Eldon and Louise Greenfield Mills. She was a retired bank branch manager.
     Surviving is her husband of 42 years, Michael Tompkins of Four Oaks; daughter, Dallas Tompkins Webster of Four Oaks; granddaughters, McKinley Grady and Hayden Webster; sisters, Patricia Bullock of Arlington, Texas, Sandra L. Harris of Four Oaks; sisters-in-law, Donna Tompkins of New Jersey and Lois Johnson and husband, Benton of Four Oaks; brother-in-law, Ralph Tompkins and wife, Noreen of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews.

            In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

              In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
