George Jobes

George Jobes, son of Shirley (Rayfield) Jobes and the late Glenn Readman Jobes, was born May 19, 1970, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and passed away March 11, 2021, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at 50 years of age. George grew up in Moyock, North Carolina. He always enjoyed having pets growing up. He and his “sis”, Glenda, would often sneak peaks at their Christmas presents together and enjoyed playing board games taught to them by their grandmother, Pauline. They also enjoyed going to church with their mother who taught them to love God and to be kind to others. George valued his friends greatly. One of his most prized possessions was his kitty, Dude. He always enjoyed spending time with good friends. He had a good sense of humor and would help others when he could. He also liked spending time outside whenever possible. George was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Jobes, whom he had a great love and respect for. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Casady, his sister, Glenda White and her husband, Bobby, a nephew, Robert White, a niece, Sarah White, and other extended family and friends.
