On the day of March 18, 2021 Raymond Frederic Porter, age 81, completed his mission on earth. 

A memorial service for Ray will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Keith Kitzhaber officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday evening.

Raymond was born on November 25, 1939 to Frederic and Casimere (Mohelski) Porter in Bay City Michigan. After completing high school, he worked for the SooLine Railroad as a telegrapher. He also was employed as a "Spider-Man" on the Mackinac Bridge.

He met the love of his life, Annette Marie Soltis, in Ironwood Michigan and they married on November 17, 1962.

They were blessed with 3 beautiful children. 

 Denise Lynn Porter, Bradley Joseph Porter and Daniel Arthur Porter.

 They relocated to Marshfield, Wisconsin where he was employed in the mobile home industry until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Annette (Hilde) Porter and son Daniel (Rover) Porter.

Raymond was proud of his Husqvarna's and gathering wood up north at his resort on Butternut lake. The resort was his pride and joy, and many people were gifted to enjoy his accomplishments on the lake. 

We truly miss you, but we will meet again.
