McArthur, Eleanor (nee Jackson) Peacefully at Hawthorn Woods Care Community on Thursday, March 18, 2021at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Arnold McArthur. Dear mother of Bill McArthur and Debra Low and her husband Dave. Predeceased by her son David (1973). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Silvello (Mike). Dearest great-grandmother of Keira and Chloe. Remembered by her sister Mary Lloyd. Predeceased by her brothers Eric Jackson and Allan Jackson. Eleanor will also be greatly missed by other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Face coverings must be worn during all events. A tree will be planted in memory of Eleanor in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
