Rosemary T Giampietro

Rosemary McKenna Giampietro 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 16th 2021 at home, surrounded by her husband, Pete, daughter, Kim, and son, Chris. She graduated from Mater Christi high school and went on to be a legal aide at a law firm. Rosemary raised her two children until they were in high school and then went back to work. She was hired as a temp by a legal firm in Garden City Long Island called, Mahon, Mahon, Kevin’s and O’Brien. Within a month they offered Rosemary a permanent job where she worked for the next 26 years as a legal aide. Rosemary was a very active person throughout her life and was in the gym every day. She enjoyed swimming, bike rides, yoga, playing Pickleball, but her favorite activity was walking about 3 miles a day. Rosemary was a very generous person and throughout her life assisted other people and organizations. She adopted a child in India and was a monthly donator to St Jude. Rosemary also worked in a Food Bank providing food to needy people. These are just several examples of her giving heart. Rosemary was also the light in her husband’s life and the only thing he needed to be happy and fulfilled. Rosemary is survived by her husband Pete, her daughter Kim, her son Chris her, two granddaughters, Jenna and Ashley, her sisters, Kathy, Patsy, Betty, Fran, and her brother, Patrick. She is preceded in death by her other sister , Eileen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 22nd, at 10AM, in St. Joseph’s Church, Millstone, NJ. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ. Visiting for relatives and friends will be held at the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 US Hwy 206, Hillsborough, NJ, on Sunday, March 21st, between 2 and 5PM.
