Bonnie Lynne (O'Beirne) Skidmore, 52, of Peru, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, March 19, 2021 at Faith Church, Peru with Pastor Steve Adamson officiating. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 9-10:30 AM Friday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending services are kindly asked to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines. Mrs. Skidmore was born July 30, 1968 in Peru to John "Jack" and Joanne (Pikula) O'Beirne. She was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. She married Mark Skidmore on November 16, 2011 at the Ottawa City Hall. Mrs. Skidmore was a member of Faith Church, Peru and worked as a cashier at Hy-Vee. She enjoyed crafting and yard sales. She also enjoyed camping with her husband, Mark at Green River Oaks in Amboy. She loved her dogs, Taya and Daya. Survivors include her husband, Mark; two children, Kyle Horn of Kentucky and Kiersten (Daniel) Tieman of Peru; six grandchildren, including Maci, Mila, Myah and Oliver; her mother, Joanne of Streator and a sister, Jane Zorgdrager of LaSalle. She was preceded in death by her father. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
