Robert Waddell

Robert “Bob” Waddell age 78 of Cub Run passed away Sunday, March 14th at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. Bob was the son of the late Trenton & Connie Cox Waddell. He was a farmer and was a U.S. Army veteran having served his country for our freedom, during the Vietnam war. He and his wife Carolyn owned the Dairy Freeze in Cub Run until her death. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Walter Waddell, Tony Waddell, Truman Waddell, Myrtle Gonterman, Mary Whittinghill, Lucy Logsdon & Evelyn Panjwana, sister-in-law Marlyon Logsdon, brothers-in-law Larry Thompson, Gary Logsdon & Vashi Khiani Bob is survived by three daughters Stacy Wilson & husband Allen of Cub Run, Monica Brooks & husband Bobby of Prospect and Alisha Cook of Smiths Grove; five grandchildren Sarah Hale & husband Jacob, Elizabeth Cook, Chad Wilson, Larissa Brooks & Sebastian Brooks, one great-grandson Elliott Hale; one brother Jim Waddell & his wife Judy of Mammoth Cave; sisters-in-law-Barbara Khiani, Patty Logdson & Sandra Thompson; brothers-in-law Otto Thompson & wife Ersella, Wayne Thompson, Steve Thompson & wife Virginia, Rondall Thompson, Danny Thompson & wife Faye and Jimmy Logsdon, several nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Waddell will be 11am Friday, March 19th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Center Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8pm and after 8am Friday at the Sego Funeral Home.
