Dale Alan Weckman Obituary

Dale Alan Weckman, 64, of Marengo, Indiana, died on March 13, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on March 28, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James Weckman Sr. and Delores (Hilton) Weckman.

 

He was a forklift operator for Masterbrand, a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Iraq War.  He was a member of Hillview Christian Church and attended First Capitol Christian Church in Corydon, Indiana.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers:  Daniel and Robert Weckman; sister, Brenda K. Weckman; and a step-son:  Kenneth Michael Judd.

 

He is survived by his wife Debbie L. Mahoney Weckman of Marengo, Indiana; son, Alex Weckman of New Albany, Indiana; daughters:  Beverly (Brandon) Hardin of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Melinda Weckman of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; step-daughters:  Kimberly Vanwinkle (Alan) of English, Indiana and Khristina Simon (Josh Smith) of Depauw, Indiana; brothers:  Gary Weckman (Jan) of Ohio and Gerald Weckman (Barbara) of Texas; sister, Shannon Weckman of Colorado; and grandchildren:  Liz and James Hardin, Gabby Free, Allyssa and Skylar Fields, Payton and Savannah Morgan, Shelby Kendall, Lillie Saylor, Willie Vanwinkle, Paisley Smith, and Anthony Weckman.

 

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 3:30 pm at the Hillview Christian Church near Marengo, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of the service at 3:30 pm at the church.
