Pamela Ann Scarff

Pamela Ann Scarff, age 70, of Monkton, Maryland, passed away on March 13, 2021 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of Harold and Ruth (nee Tracy) Stewart and wife of the late Philip Scarff. A lifelong educator, she taught for over 30 years with most years at Dr. Rayner Browne Elementary School in Baltimore City. She also served as the president of the Baltimore Teacher’s Union and later as an administrator for Baltimore City Schools. Pamela is survived by her father, Harold Stewart; her brother, Arthur Stewart; daughter, Melissa Aponte; son, Jason Scarff and his wife Stacey Scarff; and her grandchildren, Cheyanne, Alexa, Garrett and Scott. She is also survived by an extended loving family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Bernice Stewart. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association - Maryland 217 E. Redwood Street 23rd Floor, Baltimore, MD, 21201.
