Janice Faye Lybrand Smith ,66, of Albertville, AL, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center South. Per her request she will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time. Preceded in death by her, husband, Walter V. Smith, mother, Violet Ruth Williams Lybrand, father, Ottis Eugene Lybrand, brothers, Richard Lybrand, Donald Lybrand, brother-in-law, TJ Ross. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Parrish of Douglas, Alabama, son, Jason Morton (Heather Johnson)of Kansas City, Wichita, sister, Linda Ross of Boaz, Alabama, brother, Earl Lybrand (Marie) of Boaz, Alabama, sister-in-law, Shirley Lybrand of Albertville, Alabama, grandchildren, Jameson Collie, Sarah Collie, Skiler Morton, Aubrey Barrett, a host of nieces and nephews, special friends, Lisa Bowman and family. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
