Lent, David Frank, 73 of South Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 10,2021, in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in South Ohio, he was a son to the late Frank and Mable (Crosby) Lent. David was a skilled carpenter and took great pride in his work. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and gardening and most importantly the love he had for his family. He is survived by his wife, Emily; daughter Jemie (Dwayne Doucette), Cape St. Mary; son, Andy, Belleville; brother, Robert (Beverly), Kingston, Ontario; sister Clarise (David) Diggins, Middleton; grandchildren, Dillan, Isabel and Alyre; sister in laws, Loretta and Karen; brother in laws, Carl (Helena) Hart; Ainslie (Sharon) Hart; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Beside his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Harry and Donnie, mother and father-in-law, Mary and Laird Hart. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery, South Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Hillside Cemetery or the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
