<p>Meta Paula Stroder, 94, of Jackson died March 10, 2021, at the Jackson Manor in Jackson, Mo. Born January 13,1927, in Pocahontas, Mo. she was the daughter of Otto Herman and Augusta Petzoldt Steiner.&nbsp;</p> <p>On September 2,1951, she married Cecil D. Stroder, who preceded her in death August 12, 1985.</p> <p>Mrs. Stroder was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, where she taught Sunday school. She and her husband owned and operated Stroder Equipment Company, Stroder and Son Funeral Home, and Stroder and Son Monument Sales. &nbsp;She was a long-time employee of Rozier&rsquo;s department store.&nbsp;</p> <p>Mrs. Stroder is survived by a son, Lynn (&ldquo;Mike&rdquo;) Stroder, of St. Louis; a daughter, Carol Ann Stroder Ballard, of Greensboro, NC; two granddaughters, Catherine Anne Ballard and Caroline Ballard, both of Greensboro; a sister, Flora Limbaugh, of Pocahontas, Mo. and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her husband, and three brothers: Gilbert Steiner, Nelson Steiner, and Raymond Steiner.</p> <p>A&nbsp; graveside memorial service is scheduled at&nbsp;Russell Heights Cemetery on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 1:30 PM..&nbsp;</p> <p>Hutchings Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Meta Paula Stroder, 94, of Jackson died March 10, 2021, at the Jackson Manor in Jackson, Mo. Born January 13,1927, in Pocahontas, Mo. she was the daughter of Otto Herman and Augusta Petzoldt Steiner. 

On September 2,1951, she married Cecil D. Stroder, who preceded her in death August 12, 1985.
