Arlene L. Ware Of Mundelein Arlene L. Ware was born May 5, 1942 in Chicago to Jacob Laufer and Dorothy (nee Giltzow) Laufer-Carey. She died March 9, 2021 at her home in Mundelein. She was a 1960 graduate of Taft High School in Chicago and has continued to support her Alma mater as a member of the Taft Alumni Association. She enjoyed gardening, reading on her Kindle, traveling the world and was a long time member of The Humane Society of the United States. Arlene is survived by her daughters Tracy Ware-Steggall and Jennifer (Brian) Koziel; her granddaughters Emerie and Caitlyn; her nieces Cheryl and Suzanne and by many dear cousins. Arlene is preceded in death by her husband Ronald G. Ware; her infant daughter Jennifer Susan Ware; her sister Joyce Hansen; her parents; step father James V. Carey and by her loving in laws Elmer and LaVerne Ware. Visitation Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights (4 blocks south of Palatine Road). Capacity limits, PPE requirement, and social distancing in effect. Funeral service 10:30 AM, Monday, March 15, 2021 at Glueckert Funeral Home. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery.
