Myron Tarno, 80, of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday morning, October 23, 2019 at Eventide, Jamestown.
Myron was born October 25, 1938, in Jamestown, ND, the son of Harry and Irene (Stine) Tarno. He started farming as a teenager in the Windsor area. Myron and LaDona Berreth were married on November 15, 1963 in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown. They made their home on a farm north of Cleveland and continued to farm in the Windsor-Cleveland area until moving to Jamestown on January 15, 2011. Myron was proud of his antique tractors and his windmill, which he moved to Jamestown. He was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Myron is survived by his wife, LaDona Tarno, Jamestown; son, Randy (Lesley) Tarno, Jamestown; brothers, Robert Tarno, Melvin (Marie) Tarno, and Art (Marge) Tarno, all of Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Holly in 2000; son, Kent in 2018; his parents; and sister, Shirley.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
