Mr. Ricky N. Blount, Sr, age 39 departed this life on Friday, April 24, 2020 at his residence. He was born to Arthur Earl Brown and Brenda Blount Jones but the kids want to also recognize the granddad that they did know and they want it to say he was biologically born to them but loving raised by James L. Jones He attended Bradwell Institute, we married in 2001 our children are Charisma Malone, Ricky Blount Jr and Nashayla Blount. He worked as a supervisor for Chemtall for over 13 years and he later went to international paper where he became a Winder operator. He became a mason in 2013 he belonged to Eastern Star Lodge #58 in Pembroke Ga He also joined Bethel AME Church in Hinesville, GA. He loved fast cars and all types of music. Music was his life he was known for always playing something sitting and relaxing in the garage. He valued being a hardworking man he was a man of his word he loved his family and was always willing to help. He was under hospice care and passed at home with family. He only has sisters, Keesha Myers ( James ) of Pooler, GA, Stephanie Jones-Garner (Endia) of Hinesville, Jessica Simmons, Thermika Simmons, Monica Simmons all of Kinstson NC; nine nieces; five nephews; an a host of uncles aunts and cousins.
