Edna Ruth Rider Pate was born August 22, 1930 in Webster County, MS
to Louis Noble Rider and Mary Deline Rowe. She was preceded in death
by her parents, two brothers, Billy Louis Rider and Bobby Kenneth Rider,
and her loving husband of 60 years, James Wilburn Pate.

She is survived by her loving daughter Sherrie LaRae Pate Sehrt, devoted
son-in-law David, and her beloved grandchildren, James Francis, John Clinton
and Brennan LaRae.

Edna was an amazing and accomplished woman. Those who knew her
admired her endless talents, vibrant personality and charming sense of humor.
She was a retired school teacher of 20 years, realestate agent,
builder/land developer, and phenomenal seamstress and fabric artist. But
she would tell you that her greatest accomplishment was having a loving
family and being a devoted mother and grandmother. Above all, she loved
The Lord and lived a saved, sanctified, holy life as a member of The Church of God.

We find peace in knowing that she has seen the face of Jesus and is in
His presence in Paradise.
