Elsie Brereton Kanata, Ontario Obituary

Elsie Brereton

It is with great sadness the family announces that Elsie passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2021. She will be missed dearly by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert, her daughters Anne (Robert Cote) and Susan (Samuel Chernak) and her grandchildren Celeste, Jess, Shayna, and Harry. Elsie grew up in the Gaspé, the youngest of fourteen children. She loved being a mother and homemaker, and was an extraordinary baker of pies, cakes and cookies. She was also a talented seamstress and crewel embroidery artist. Please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Services will be held at a later date.
