Oscar Anthony " Andy " Crosby, 57, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Summerville, South Carolina. We know he is rejoicing in heaven with his Momma. Born on August 7, 1963 in Charleston, South Carolina, Andy is a son of the late Albert Bannon Crosby, Sr. and Betty Jean (Stevens) Crosby. Andy will be remembered by his family for his beautiful smile, great sense of humor and the amazing way his laughter lit up a room. As a teenager he loved to hang out with his friends and ride his dirt bike, play sports, such as baseball and football, and he was very talented at drawing. As a grown man he continued to bring joy to all that knew him. He will remain forever loved and never forgotten! Andy is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Colene Simmons and his nephew, Albert Bannon " Bert " Crosby, II. Those who will treasure Andy's memory are his sister, Darlene Bowen (Jerry Lindsey) of Niceville, Florida; his brothers, Harley David Crosby (Debbie) of Pinopolis, South Carolina and Albert Bannon Crosby, Jr. (Betty) of Ridgeville, South Carolina. His uncle, Roy Stevens of Moncks Corner, South Carolina and an Aunt Reiko Stevens of Goose Creek, South Carolina. Andy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and members of his extended family. A gathering of Andy's family and friends will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Reverend Ralph Mullins, pastor of the New Beginnings Worship Center in Moncks Corner. Rites of Committal and Interment will follow services where Andy will be laid to rest next to his mother and father at Plantation Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner.
