Joseph "Joey" E. Moir

Joseph “Joey” E. Moir, 12, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away at Hershey Medical Center on February 25, 2021. Joey was born on January 12, 2009 to Erik and Kecia Moir in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was an active member of Boy Scout Troop 97 and achieved the Tenderfoot rank. Joey also loved to swim and was a part of the Middletown Swim Team. Beyond the sports and boy scouts, he was also a youngling with the Central Pennsylvania Jedi/Sith Alliance. Joseph is preceded in death by his grandfather Joseph Santoro. He is survived by his beloved parents Erik and Kecia, his brother, as well as many other cherished family and friends. There will be a private scattering ceremony at a later date of the family’s convenience, as well as a public memorial service in April. In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions can be made to the Joey Moir Memorial Scoutship Fund. Contributions can be sent to the Londonderry Fire Department, 2655 Foxianna Rd, Middletown, PA 17057, with checks made payable to Cub Scout Pack 97; attention to Tim Nissley; with the Joey Moir Memorial Scoutship Fund in the memo.
