Paul Lionel Hutchinson Obituary

Paul Lionel Hutchinson, 82, of Rush went to be with his Lord Saturday March 6, 2021 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Paul was born September 1, 1938 in Rush, KY a son of the late John Thompson and Geneva Griffith Hutchinson. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Rice; three sisters, Mary Wilson, Alma Hutchinson and Ellie Mae Hutchinson; and a brother, Clyde Hutchinson.
Paul served his country honorably in the US Army. After the Army Paul retired from being a cook at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Paul was a member of the Princess Chapel. Paul was known as a jokester, enjoyed fishing and hunting; and loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Rita J. Davis Hutchinson; a son, William Steven (Lisa) Hensley; four daughters, Sandra (Brian) Castor of Summit, Sydney Paulette Hutchinson of Rush, Sharon (Mason) Turner of Louisville and Tina (Lee Nguyen) Tran of Michigan; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evie Lucas, Gail (Roy) Fannin and Daisy Coyan; two brothers, John (Barb) Hutchinson and Phillip Wayne (Carol) Hutchinson; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday March 10,2021 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Keith Crum and Bro. Mickey King officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors. Visitation will be 11 am Wednesday until the service hour at the funeral home.
