Robert M. Lettieri of Belmont passed away peacefully on March 5, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones and in the comfort of his home. Beloved husband of Frances M. Lettieri (Devito) of 59 Years. Son of the late Michael and Mary Lettieri of Belmont. Loving father of Annett M. Diaz of Ossining, NY and her husband Julio and Denise M. Lettieri of Boston. Cherished grandfather of Marisa N Diaz and her boyfriend Angelo J. Quiñones of Bayonne, NJ. Brother of Barbara Moreland and her husband John, Richard B. Lettieri, and Marian Chella and her husband Anthony. Robert was a retired MBTA bus operator (Badge #1165) for over 30 years, an elected Barn Captain and an active Union Member of Local 589 for 51 years. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St Joseph Church 128 Common Street Belmont, MA on Wednesday March 10 at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Due to COVID 19 precautions social distancing and face masks are required. Interment Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont, MA.
