Susan Brkal
Susan Brkal, 101, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother gained her heavenly wings on March 1, 2021. Susan is now reunited with her loving husband of 73 years, Samuel Brkal. She is survived by her son Milan John Brkal and his wife Judy. Son Robert Samuel Brkal and his wife Debi. Five grandchildren; Tammy Rowe and her husband Chris, Sherry Brkal, Danielle Cranwell and her husband John, Stacie Lawler and her husband Chris, Kevin Brkal and his wife Agata. Eight Great Grandchildren; Lyndsay and her boyfriend Owen, Christopher, Cameron, Henry, Charlie, Amelia, Hazel, and Jake. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends. She lived a fruitful life, always putting her faith and family first. Susan loved to be out in her garden and in her kitchen cooking and baking. She worked many years for Gordon and Lulie Gund while also being a proud member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Holy Trinity Slovak Lutheran Church and the Czechoslovakian Farmers Club. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the M.J. Murphy Funeral home 616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Christ the King Church 3330 Highway Cemetery, Kendall Park, NJ 08824. Burial will follow in the Ten Mile Run Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Christ the King Church 3330 Highway 27, Kendall Park, NJ 08824 or Holy Trinity Slovak Lutheran Church 334 East 20th Street, New York, NY 10003March 1, 202103/01/2021
