<p>Lt. Kenny Lynn Gibbons, 49, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.</p> <p>Born Sunday, June 20, 1971 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Thomas Gibbons and the late Janis Clark Swims. Mr. Gibbons was a longtime employee of Brad Ragan Tire before entering law enforcement. He was a 2001 graduate of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy and was a Patrol Lieutenant for the Dyer County Sheriff&#39;s Department.&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services for Mr. Gibbons will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the First Christian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Jim Ennis. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the First Christian Church in Dyersburg</p> <p>He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, April Rogers Gibbons of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three daughters, Courtney Nicole Gibbons of Newbern, Tennessee, Abbie Claire Gibbons of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Laney Ann Gibbons of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his step-mother, Mary Alice Gibbons of Finley, Tennessee; six brothers, Wayne Walker (Marie) of Newbern, Tennessee, Jimmy Gibbons (Pam) of Jackson, Tennessee,&nbsp; Tommy Gibbons (Penny) of Trimble, Tennessee, David Gibbons of Bells, Tennessee, James Reasons of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Russell Reasons (Tisa) of Finley, Tennessee; one sister, Debbie Pierce of Daytona Beach, Florida; he leaves behind his three grandchildren, Parker O&#39;Neal Daniels, Hadleigh Nicole Daniels and Aubrey Blayke Daniels and a host of extended family that he loved dearly.</p> <p>Honoring Lt. Gibbons as pallbearers will be his fellow Deputies from the Dyer County Sheriff&#39;s Department.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the memorial fund that has been established in Lt. Lt. Kenny Lynn Gibbons, 49, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, June 20, 1971 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Thomas Gibbons and the late Janis Clark Swims.
