WANDA JOYCE BARANSKI Obituary

Wanda Joyce Baranski

11/12/43 -3/4/2021

Wanda went to be with her Lord on March 4, 2021. Wanda was the only daughter of 6 born to Elmer (Blackie) and Eileen Walker. Even though a child herself, she did her best to

take care of her five little brothers. She was born in Fairfield, California. The family later moved to Oklahoma City, Midwest City and then Choctaw.

She met the love of her life Ron Baranski at Midwest City High School. They married after graduating and had four children.

Wanda had many jobs through the years. She began as a waitress, worked at TG&Y and in the children’s school cafeteria. Wanda was also a bank teller, meat wrapper and ended her career at Tinker Air Force base where she retired.

She has always had a strong faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. She was the example of a Godly woman. She showed her faith in everything and led by example, and always encouraged others.

Even while fighting this last terminal cancer for five years She showed grace and peace with it. She has a few favorite verses from the Bible; Psalm 62:18, “Trust in Him at all

times”, Proverbs 3:6, “In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight”, Jeremiah 29:11,” For I know the plans I have for you…”

Wanda was a member at Faith Baptist Church in Harrah. She loved to volunteer, cook at functions, and help with counting money. Her one wish was that people would come to know the Lord and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

She was happiest being with her husband Ron of 58 years, whether it was at home or sitting on the porch at

the lake reading and visiting. She has always been very involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, games and reading.

Wanda is survived by her husband Ron Baranski Sr., three children Ron Baranski Jr. and his wife Lisa, Vonda Baranski, Amy Decker and her Husband Randy; four grandchildren Zach Burnett his wife Christine, Megan Jones, her husband Michael, Lexi Baranski and Taylor Moinian; two great grandchildren; Wyatt Burnett and Kyler Jones. Five Brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, an infant, Rhonda Baranski.
