<p>Phyllis Ann Jackson passed away February 28, 2021 at University of Tennessee Medical Center.&nbsp; She was 78.&nbsp; She was a long-time resident of Morristown Tennessee.&nbsp; She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.&nbsp; Phyllis retired from the Hamblen County School System where she drove a school bus for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minerva Jackson of Morristown, and her husband, Dean Jackson.&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Sumner, and her two grandchildren, Jackson and Kate.&nbsp; Phyllis is also survived by two brothers, Donald Jackson of Morristown, Tennessee and Larry Jackson of Trussville, Alabama; nieces, Michele, Suzanne, LaDonna and nephew Philip; and many cousins with whom she shared some of her greatest adventures.&nbsp; She was dearly loved by family and friends.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>She will be buried Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Sunderland Cemetery following a service at Pleasant View Baptist Church at 1:00.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Arrangements by Alder Funeral Home</p>

Obituary

Phyllis Ann Jackson passed away February 28, 2021 at University of Tennessee Medical Center.  She was 78.  She was a long-time resident of Morristown Tennessee.  She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.  Phyllis retired from the Hamblen County School System where she drove a school bus for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minerva Jackson of Morristown, and her husband, Dean Jackson.
