Gino Barbuto Obituary

God called Gino back home on March 2, 2021 at the age of 61. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Debra. Cherished by his dear children Carolina, Joseph and Robert. Adored nonno to Matteo. Beloved son to Carolina Barbuto. Proud brother to Silvia and Julie. Gino is now reunited in Heaven with his father Giuseppe Barbuto. He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends. Scheduled visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Sunday March 7, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., Vaughan, Ontario) on Monday March 8, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. A private cremation is to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in support of the work of Dr. Flavio Habal and Dr. Jordan Feld, at Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Please visit www.tgwhf.ca/tribute or call 416-603-5300. Now that York Region has moved to a “Red Zone”, public visitations will allow a maximum of 25-50 people in attendance per visitation room. On the day of the funeral, we request that only the most immediate family members join us at the Funeral Home and that others join us at the church. We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering. As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Barbuto Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
