Stacie Broyles Branson

Stacie Broyles Branson, 48 of Star City, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born November 26, 1972 in Dumas to the late William and Katherine Tarlton Broyles. Stacie was a member of Overcoming Faith Worship Center in Star City. She was a 4th grade teacher at Jimmy Brown Elementary School, where she was a member of the Star City School’s Personnel Policy Committee. Stacie took a lot of pride in her school and in being a Bulldog. She loved to attend the Lincoln County Heritage and Historical Society Meetings, where she was an officer. She loved her kids, whether in kindergarten or already graduated, she welcomed them with open arms. Stacie would give someone her last dollar or the shirt off her back, spreading love and joy was her passion in life. Survivors include her husband, Heath Branson; son, Nash Branson, daughter, Samantha Branson, all of Star City; 2 sisters, Kathy Broyles (Chris Connell) Yarbrough and Kristal Broyles, both of Tichnor; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services are 2:00PM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Dark Corner Cemetery with Bro. Don Borland officiating. A walk-thru visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Masks are required. Pallbearers are Grant Russell, Trent Finley, Tyler Kelley, Jackson Watkins, Swade Yarbrough and Bubba Collins. Honorary pallbearers are James Gulledge, JR Talkington, Bryce Talkington and Curtis Shepherd. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
