Jason M. Bardzik Obituary

DRACUT – Jason M. “Jay” Bardzik, 47, a resident of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital after a brave two-year battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Sara (Adams) Bardzik with whom he enjoyed 19 years of marriage.

He was born in Lowell on July 8, 1973 and was a son of Diane (Mailloux) McInnes and her husband Barry, and Michael Bardzik and his wife Jessica Bardzik Danh.

Jay was raised in Dracut and graduated in style from Dracut High School in 1991. He was the founder and owner of ATA Employment Agency which merged with Masis Staffing where he maintained a leadership role. He was a wise and successful businessman, having started his own company and owning and operating several pieces of real estate. But his greatest accomplishment by far was raising his daughter, Lana Lorelei Bardzik. He instilled a kind, loving nature in her that will carry the best parts of him into the world.

Jay met his wife, Sara Bardzik, at the Lorelei Restaurant and Cabana Bar while they were both vacationing in the Florida Keys. Travelling was a passion of Jay’s with trips ranging from St. John all the way to China. A vibrant smile was never far from his face as he showed pictures and told stories of his travels. He often visited a peaceful island in Maine where he reveled in the simple things like teaching his daughter how to hunt crabs and making the best steak and cheese sandwich you’ll ever have.

Another passion of Jay’s was the Boston Bruins. Not only was he a season ticket holder, but he rarely missed a game. He often extended invitations to friends so they might share in his excitement for the sport. Jay exuded so many lovable qualities. He was witty, intelligent, adventurous, and determined, to name a few, but above all else he loved his family. Even to a complete stranger, his immense love for his wife and daughter came through.

In addition to his loving wife, daughter, and his parents, Jay is survived by his brothers; Ben Bardzik and Rich McInnes, mother-in-law Lois Adams, brother-in-law Seth Adams, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews of the Mailloux and Bardzik families.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3rd from 4 to 7 pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut.

Due to gathering restrictions, his funeral service on Thursday will be private. You are kindly invited to view Jay's service live on Thursday, March 4th at 11:00 am.
