Our beloved Anthony Jerome Stewart better known as 'Grip' was born to the late James and Delores Stewart. Grip was born on October 29, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. On February 19, 2021 Grip was called from the earthly realm to the heavenly sphere.

As a child, Anthony was raised in the Catholic Church and attended St. Martin's Academy. After he matriculated from St. Martin's, Anthony embarked on his secondary education at Baltimore City College from which he graduated in 1974. Grip continued his education after high school by attending electrical school and obtaining his certification as an electrician. For the duration of his adult life, Grip was a licensed electrician.

Anthony was a happy person with a good heart. He enjoyed playing basketball, dancing, music and bowling. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends. He had a cadre of ciose friends that he stayed connected to until his death.

Grip was a father, son, brother, cousin, and uncle. His son Antwan preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn him: Marcus his son; one brother, Darryl K. Stewart; three sisters , Yvonne D. Darden, Deonne E. Noel, and Renee M. Harris. He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
