Bonnie Jean Williams-Woolridge Obituary

Bonnie Jean Williams-Woolridge, age 60 of Morganfield, KY passed away Thursday 2/25/2021 at Deaconess Union County Hospital. She was born March 22, 1960 in Idaho Falls, ID to the late Robert Williams and Lois Putty. Although she was born in Idaho, she was a true Texan at heart. She is also preceded in death by her step-father Lee Putty. Everyone who knew Bonnie knew she was “The Boss”. She took charge no matter the occasion and never met a stranger. She always gave the best advice on any matter, and would always tell the hard truth, whether you wanted to hear it or not. She always made everyone feel loved, whether she had known you for five minutes or years. A dream day for Bonnie would be sitting at home watching Hallmark movies in a pair of soft purple pajamas and warm fuzzy socks. Bonnie would talk to Stacy at least four times by mid-morning and would call Justin and Josh to see what they were doing and that they were doing it correctly. Later after a nice nap, she would enjoy spending time with all her grandkids while they ate juicy “What-a-Burger”. All the while keeping a close eye on her many cats and three spoiled dogs, as well as keeping Diane on her toes every single minute of the day, not to mention fielding calls from Alix for some Nanna advice and her recipe for macaroni and tomatoes. To sum it up, her family and her pets were her favorite things and everyone knew they were loved. Bonnie’s best friend Cindy Williams since childhood has been there for her through thick and thin. The pair have been friends for over 40 years and loved each other like sisters. They were so blessed to have each other over the years and neither would have had it any other way. Bonnie worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky in family resources where she provided assistance to many families seeking food stamps, Medicare, and assistance for child care. She did all she could to make sure people got any and all assistance they needed and would always take time to listen and let them know that she was there to help. The people that Bonnie worked with were her family too and she so enjoyed working with them. Bonnie was married to Diane Carver, and they were together for 22 wonderful years. They were each other’s best friends and forever love. She was blessed with three children, Stacy and son-in-law Eddie Runyon, Justin Woolridge and Josh Woolridge, all of Morganfield. She also had a stepdaughter Ranie Carver of Newburgh, IN. Although she loved her children, the true lights of her life were her grandchildren, Alixandra Fuqua, Caiden Fuqua, Chadydence Runyon, Amanda Runyon, and Jackson Woolridge, all of Morganfield. Bonnie is also survived by her 5 siblings Connie Veselka of Axtell, TX, LeAnne Crabtree and husband Chuck of Providence, KY, Lisa Hess and husband Richard of Clay, KY, Jan Ripley and Ricky Putty of Waco, TX. Also many nieces and nephews that she loved greatly. Bonnie’s life was filled with love for family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is being taken care of now by her mother and grandmother who she will be so happy to see. Funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday, March 3, 2021 AT Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Rev. Jeff McMain will officiate. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Starhope Cemetery in Dixon, KY.
