Rita Gillis Brampton, Ontario Obituary

Rita Gillis

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Rita on Monday February 8, 2021 at the age of 72 years. Rita is now reunited in heaven with her dear husband Gregory and parents Mabel and Jean Dugas. Rita was the loving mother of Sheila and her husband Bruno Crestani and Danny and his wife Janet. She was the devoted grandmother of Anthony Crestani, Andrew Crestani and Jaydan Gillis. Rita was the cherished sister of Ronald Dugas and his wife Marg, Richard Dugas and Karen and her husband Larry Cyr. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the staff of Tall Pines Long Term Care Center for the care and compassion shown to Rita and the family. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 people. As a result, the visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only. For the health and well-being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home comply with current by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing masks. Your understanding, condolences and continued support are very much appreciated during this very difficult time. All are encouraged to share words of comfort, stories and photos with the family using the links above. For those unable to attend the funeral home, the Funeral Service for Rita will be live streamed. The live stream will commence at 12:30 pm on Saturday February 13, 2021.
