Fannie (Doss) Kennedy, 83, passed in Orlando, Fl on February 28, 2021. Born in Monticello, KY on December 6, 1937, to William McKinley and Molly Phipps Doss, she married the love of her life, Gerald Kennedy, on March 26, 1952. To this union was 1 son, Ronald Mark Kennedy. Fannie and Gerald relocated to the St. Pete/Bradenton area in 1973 and later moved to the Spring Hill and Brooksville, Fl area until her move to Orlando, Fl in 2016. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald (December 20, 2013); their son, Ron (March 17, 2020); 7 brothers; 5 sisters; several nieces and nephews. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; many friends and neighbors; and most especially her caregivers, niece Sharon (John) Dabney, of Monticello, Ky; nephew Danny (Janet) Watson of New Smyrna Beach, Fl, and great-niece Shelley Dabney from Apopka, Fl, whom she thought of as her own! Fannie was laid to rest with her husband at Florida National Cemetery on March 10, 2021. In lieu of flowers, Fannie's family requests that donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association (link below in Memorial Contributions).
