<p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em><strong>George &ldquo;Junie&rdquo; Corbin,</strong></em></span></span> 70 passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 28, 2021.</p> <p>Junie attended Hampton City public schools. He was a local and long distance truck driver for more than 40 years. Junie loved cooking out and spending time with family but most of all he adored his grandchildren.&nbsp;</p> <p>Mr. Corbin was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Willie Mae Denson and his father James C. Corbin.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>George &ldquo;Junie&rdquo; Corbin leaves to cherish his memory his mother Charlie Mae Corbin-Wilson, his devoted and loving wife Aleisa Keyes-Corbin, three sons; George Parker, Damon Keyes and Carlos Sheppard (Amelia), four daughters; Alonda Parker, Georgette Keyes (Devin), Kenitra Keyes(Darayan) and Charity Moore, three sisters; three sisters; Evang. Betty Copling (Lee), Georgia Wright and Sandra Johnson, nine brothers; Elder Thomas Corbin, Sr., Willie Corbin, Robert Corbin, Sr. (Gwen), Kenneth Corbin, Timothy Brown, Leon Reid (Josette), William Reid (Sharon), George Reid (Tracey) and Willie Brown, twelve grandchildren; Hellen Freeman, Lamonica Keyes, Ahviae Barlow, Shynai Sulsby, Kamille Sheppard, Trinity Burwell, Khiyan Barlow, Emari Moore, KASIDY Sheppard, Nahvir Moore, Yamir Moore and Araya Barlow. His favorite cousin Randolph Santiful and two Goddaughters; Christine Holmes and Andrea Holmes and a host of extended family members and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Viewing for Mr. Corbin will be held from 10:00 a.m. until noon Monday, March 8, 2021 at Restoration &amp; Faith Ministry, 2114 Wickham Ave, Newport News, Virginia 23607.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Services for Mr. Corbin will take place immediately following the viewing at noon Monday, March 8, 2021 within Restoration &amp; Faith Ministry.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>It is the desire of&nbsp; the Corbin family&nbsp;&nbsp;that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family of Mr. George &quot;Junie&quot; Corbin has entrusted his final care to the staff of C.C. George “Junie” Corbin, 70 passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Junie attended Hampton City public schools. He was a local and long distance truck driver for more than 40 years. Junie loved cooking out and spending time with family but most of all he adored his grandchildren. 

Mr. Corbin was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Willie Mae Denson and his father James C. Corbin.

Services for Mr. Corbin will take place immediately following the viewing at noon Monday, March 8, 2021 within Restoration & Faith Ministry.
