Brenda Sue Madison Pace, 73, of Jonesboro, formerly of Pocahontas passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at her home. She was born April 18, 1947 in Swifton to the late Hosea and Gladys Pinkston Madison. She was a graduate of Newport High School and worked as the office manager in the family business Joe E. Pace, CPA. She was a member of The Rock of NEA church. Brenda was a strong prayer warrior, loving wife, mother, and caregiver to many. Her family was blessed that God shared her with them and so many others throughout her years on this earth. She will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Hosea and Gladys Madison; sister, Wilma Jean Madison; and brother, Geary Madison. Brenda is survived by her husband, Joe Edward Pace; son, Steven Craft of Batesville; daughters, Dena Pace Freeman of Jonesboro and Tracy Pace of Villa Rica, Georgia; stepson, Joe Koehler Pace of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Brianna Gough of Jonesboro, Natalie Craft of Batesville, Jessica Gough of Las Vegas, Nevada, Michaela Freeman of Jonesboro, and J.J. Freeman of Jonesboro; siblings, Noel (Geraldine) Madison of Augusta, Barbara (Larry) Madison Scott of Mansfield, Missouri, Larry (Peggy) Madison of Monroe, Louisiana, Dan (Susan) Madison of Marion, Nina (Phyllip) Madison Bradshaw of Elsinore, Missouri, Diane Madison Lumpkin of West Memphis, Charles (Sharon) Madison of El Dorado, James Madison of Mountain Home, and Billy Madison of Newport; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2021 from 1-2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM with Terry Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Paragould Children’s Home at 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450 or to the Pregnancy Resource Center at 910 S Main St, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
