Piedmont - Margaret Lou Williams, 84, wife of Milford Thomas Williams for 65 years, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021. Born in Augusta, GA, she was a daughter of the late George V. and Mattie Wilbanks Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of The Carpenter’s House Church, Powdersville. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Williams is survived by her children, Betty Ann Lackey and Thomas Williams (Robin), both of Piedmont; brothers, Bob Williams (Lois) of Williamston and John Williams (Mildred) of Pelzer; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and niece, Sara Cape. She was predeceased by brother, Christopher “Sonny” Williams; and son-in-law, Larry Lackey. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 3, at noon at The Carpenter’s House Church, with visitation preceding the service from 11:00 until noon. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson. Memorials may be made to The Carpenter’s House Church, P.O. Box 51306, Piedmont, SC 29673.
