West Gardiner-It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Ann Eileen Lemar Clark on February 25, 2021 from esophageal cancer. Ann was born on February 4 to France Ann Donnelly Lemar and Joseph Woodford Lemar. She was a graduate of Gardiner Area High School and attended the University of Maine at Augusta. She worked in the Guidance Office at Gardiner Area High School from 1975 to 1985 and retired from the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation in 2003. She is predeceased by her parents and is survived by her children, Angela E Clark, John & Jill Clark and family, Kristen, Derrick, Jacob and Madelyn Archer, Matt & Morgan Clark, Joe Clark & Lilly Clark. Jenny & Will Hickey and family, Nicholas, Sadie and MacKeil Maschino, Cody, Mikaela, Delanie and Addison Hickey, and Scott Hickey & Libbie Williams. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 6PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 following the CDC and State of Maine Guidelines for COVID preventions (masks are required). A service will be held in May, 2021. Donations may be made in Ann’s memory to Bread of Life, KV Humane Society and Hospice.
