Juan Carlos Valladares, who was best known to his family and loved ones as "Papi" passed away suddenly on 2-1-2021 due to illness. He was 59 years young. He was born in Havana Cuba and resided in Guanabacoa Cuba.Born to parents Laudelina Valladares Smith and Carlos Paublo Valladares (departed), the youngest of four, Juan Madruga brother (departed), Esperanza Madruga sister, Carina Fernandez sister (departed). His parents left Cuba in 1980 as political refugees, but Carlos would not join them in America until 1995.He had passionate love for his native country and was fortunate to be able to revisit the last several years. He loved reconnecting with his family and friends. He worked the overnight shift at BJ'S which gave him time to workout during the day which was his true enjoyment. He has many friends at the Hometown Gym where he spent most of his spare time. He is survived by a daughter in Cuba, Milay Valladares and 3 grandchildren, Michael and twins Mileidys and Miladys, as well as nieces and nephews in America and abroad. During his long time residence in South Jersey, he leaves behind his partner Karen Carroll and her daughter Nicole . Papi was generous, funny and had a kind soul. Cremation will be held privately.
