Janice M. Wix

Janice M. Wix (Thomas), 82 passed away on February 23, 2021.  She was born and raised in Barberton and graduated from Barberton High School in 1956.  She taught at Riggs LeMar Beauty College for 30 years.  She loved to travel and especially loved her trip to England, Ireland and Wales.  She loved to play cards, especially pinochle; games, bowling and playing on the computer.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents Ray & Evelyn Thomas and brother Terry Thomas.  She is survived by her son John Randy Wix, daughters Pamela (Jeff) Eisenbrei and Renee (Paul) Joliat, former husband Roscoe Wix, grandchildren Brandon, Beverly, Thomas, Michael, Benjamin and Gabriel, brother Ray (Carol) Thomas, sister-in-law Lana Thomas and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Sunday at 3:00 pm officiated by Pastor Bob Combs.  Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
