Constance Dotson

Constance Denise Dotson of Toledo, OH passed away on February 25, 2021 at the age of 70, as St. Vincent's Hospital. She was affectionately known as "Connie". Connie was born on Feb. 28th, 1950 in Alabama to the late Rev. Alonzo and Mary Thompson, before making Toledo her home. She attended Rogers HIgh School. Upon her completion she had her first child, Kelvin Harris (Kenneth Harris). Connie married Edward of Dotson of Toledo,OH and gave birth to three additional children, Lynnetta Dotson, Elliott Dotson and Myron Dotson. "Ms. Connie" was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, playing music, and watching television. She loved scary movies and Perry Mason. Connie also loved to fish, play cards and having drinks with her friends. She will be truly missed by all that knew her, she will forever be affectionately known as "Ms. Connie".

She is survived by her children, Kelvin (Elaine) Harris of Toledo,OH, Lynnetta also of Toledo, Elliott (Kina) Dotson of Charlotte, NC and Myron Dotson of Toledo; twelve grandchildren, Jordan, Elaysia, Kelvin Jr., Desirae, Edward Jay (deceased), Sherri, Jayden, Amariah, Dequandre, Janay, Sentoria Dotson of Lansing, MI and Myron Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI; a host of great-grandchildren who loved her dearly; sisters, Minnie Bounds, Claudia (Bryan) Daniels, Delores (Tyrone) Holloway, Pearline (Eugene) Smith of Evergreen, Ala, and Lorine (Joe) Johnson; brothers, Robert (Linda) Vourhess, Burnice and Shirley, Robert and Betty Anthony, deceased brother, Al Jr., Willie, Michael, Donald, Billy Harris, sisters, Helen Harris and Maybell Holmes; and a host of other loving family and friends.
