It is with deep sadness that the family of Christine “Chris” May Moskalyk of Cold Lake, Alberta announces her passing on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
Chris will be forever loved and remembered by her spouse of thirty-two years: Wayne Firth of Cold Lake; two daughters: Trish Portsmouth of Edmonton, Linda Portsmouth (Cory) of St. Albert; two stepchildren: Deann McKenzie of Edmonton, Jason Firth of Edmonton; six grandchildren: Lucas Portsmouth, Jacob Portsmouth, Scott Cardinal, Michael Cardinal, Keith Cardinal, Damien Firth; three great grandchildren: Hayden Cardinal, Mathew Cardinal, Lily May Dixon; two brothers: Ken Moskalyk, George Moskalyk; two sisters: Shirley (Stan) McMillan, Betty (Pat) Weldon; as well as many nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Chris was predeceased by her parents: William & Victoria Moskalyk; brother: Garry Moskalyk; stepson: Ronald Firth.
At Chris’s request, no formal service will be held at this time.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Botha and all the staff at the Cold Lake Health Centre as well as the Home Care staff who so faithfully treated and supported Chris consistently for the last two years.
