Jessie D'Anne Maddox
Jessie D’Anne Maddox (Dee) passed away on Friday, February 19th, 2021 in Anchorage, Alaska. Dee was born in Houston, Texas on October 28th, 1957 to Betty Verbeke and Bobby McKinnon. She is survived by her son Ryan Maddox and daughter-in-law Chrystal. Four grandchildren, who made up the entirety of her world, Kasey (age 11), Ethan (age 11), Amiya (age 17) and Lillian (age 19). She is also survived by her loving stepmom, Kathy McKinnon. Dee was blessed to have a large extended family which includes many stepsiblings and cousins. Dee spent her days caring for her grandchildren, often going on fieldtrips and volunteering in the classroom. Dee was an amazing cook; she passed her love of cooking onto her son and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held this summer.Obituary
