Truman Oliver Eikermann, 90, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at StoneBridge Hermann.

Truman was born in Stolpe, Missouri on July 4, 1930, the son of the late Gustave & Pauline (Jannisch) Eikermann.

He was united in marriage to Pearline C. Brethorst on November 28, 1953, at St. John's U.C.C., Berger, MO. 
Pearline preceded him in death on November 12, 2018.

Truman proudly served his country in the United States Army and served during the Korean War.  He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and the V.F.W. Post 4182 both in Hermann, where he was a very active member in both.

Truman was a technician and shop foreman for Tom & Sons Truck Repair for 35 years.  He also worked for Gateway International for approximately 8 years.  After his retirement he enjoyed driving a school bus to sporting events for the Hazelwood High School.  Truman also enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and gardening.

Truman is survived by a brother, Virgil Eikermann & wife Margaret, of St. Charles, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pearline Eikermann, by sisters, Ada Heinlein and Mardell Eikermann, and his brothers, Alson, Gus and Erwin Eikermann.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 28th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Kurt Schaller Blaufuss officiating. 

Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery, Berger, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to Bethany Cemetery or    V.F.W. Post 4182.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
