Dr. Michael Joseph Scheidler

Dr. Michael Joseph Scheidler, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 21, 2021. He was 66. Dr. Scheidler was born in Ohio, the son of Neal Scheidler and Patricia O’Connell Scheidler Doud. After his father’s death at a young age, his mother married Bob Doud. Dr. Scheidler was raised in Cincinnati. He was the devoted husband of 41 years to Rose Ann Scheidler, loving father of Vicky Wood and Kelly Scheidler, and brother of Nan Adler, Judy Betz, Joe Doud, Brendan Doud, Patrick Doud, Molly Burke, Mary Kay Long, Maggie Collett, and the late Sue Scheidler. Dr. Scheidler worked for the Army Research Lab at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a mathematician. He enjoyed working and collecting comic books. As an avid reader, he also enjoyed browsing through used book stores. Dr. Scheidler was known for keeping his family on their toes. Services will be private.
