Funeral services for Danny Ray Hendrickson, 59, of Edgewood, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, March 1, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Danny passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.

Danny Ray Hendrickson was born on May 14, 1961, in Alamogordo, NM, to parents, Alva Durwood Hendrickson and Christa M. Rummel Hendrickson. In the early part of his life he was raised in Baytown, TX, and then his adolescent years in the Lake Tawakoni area. He later moved to Edgewood two years ago. Danny married Tammy Draughon on Valentine’s Day in 1996, and they were married for 25 years. He raised his step-son and step-daughter, Jacob and Jennifer. Danny worked as a sheet rocker and painter in the construction industry for many years. He attended Victory Baptist church in Scurry. Danny enjoyed being outdoors and loved to go fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Christa Hendrickson and his infant son, Danny Ray Hendrickson, Jr.

Danny is survived by his wife, Tammy Hendrickson of Scurry-Rosser, TX; step-children, Jennifer Fourier of Henderson, TX, and Jacob Williams and wife, Tia of Beckville, TX; sister, Patty Barringer of Terrell, TX; brother, Billy Hendrickson of Brownwood, TX; nieces, Cheryl Blasius, Kristen Murr and Brooke Sterling and husband, Billy, all of Terrell, TX; grandchildren, Kimmie, Austin, Lana, Lacie, Kala, Alissa, Lexie, Bella, NaNa, Logan and Gabbie; great grandchild, River; along with many other relatives and
